Delight Ministries is positively impacting College of Charleston women

by Haley Lovin

Delight Ministries is all about fostering love and community - and for the women involved at College of Charleston, it's been just that.

“I feel like it has helped me become bolder and step up and take a leap of faith and courage in what to do, kind of just to grow in leadership and I think it's going to impact my future and the fact that I will feel more equipped going into a future career," said team director Caroline Pond.

Delight Ministries is a national organization with chapters at over 200 college campuses.

The chapter at the College of Charleston was started two years ago by Caroline Pond and Elizabeth Clark.

Since then, dozens of women on campus have been positively impacted.

“Joining a club has really helped me make friends outside of my roommates and just get outside and do things more than just going to class," said freshman Marley Knight.
