The U.S. House of Representatives recently passed a bill pushing for the popular social media outlet TikTok to get banned from the United States.
TikTok, which is owned by the Chinese company ByteDance, has become a global sensation with over a billion users worldwide.
“I’m using first thing in the morning when I wake up to wake up, and then I also use it when I go to sleep,” says Nicole Kube, an employee at Publix supermarkets.
However, there has been some growing concern over the data sharing that many countries, the United States included, are now considering implementing bans on the app.
