College of Charleston's Student Ambassadors organization works through the admissions office to recruit first-generation and students of color to the campus.
The program provides a place for these students to feel welcome at The College.Â
Student Ambassadors are constantly presenting the campus to students that look like them.
“SA is a good program because as a PWI you don’t always see minority students that look like you on campus," said Student Ambassador Tyler Gadson.
